Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921) was an American lawyer, pastor, Bible teacher and author. A defender of dispensational premillennialism, he is best known for his Scofield Reference Bible. Also founded the Central American Mission, and with L. S. Chafer, the Philadelphia College of the Bible. He was D. L Moody's pastor at Northfield during the final years of Moody's life. |
