Will God get the glory? 1 Cor. 10:31—Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.    
Will it please God? 1 Thessalonians 2:4—But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
1 Thessalonians 4:1—Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
   
Will it help me spiritually? 1 Corinthians 14:26—How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.    
Will I be a good steward of God's possessions? 1 Corinthians 4:2—Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.    
Can I do it as unto the Lord? Colossians 3:23—And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;    
Can I be a good testimony? 1 Peter 3:15—But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.    
What effect will it have on others? Romans 14:21—It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.    
Is it "best" for me? 1 Corinthians 6:12—All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.    
Can I do it in Jesus name? Colossians 3:17—And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.    
Will I be controlled by it? 1 Corinthians 6:12—All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.    
Is it of lasting value? 1 Thessalonians 5:21—Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.    
Would it be the will of God for me? 1 John 2:15-17—Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.    
Would it give the appearance of evil? 1 Thessalonians 5:22—Abstain from all appearance of evil.    
Do I have any doubt about doing it? Romans 14:22-23—Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.    
Would it grieve or quench the Holy Spirit? Ephesians 4:30—And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1 Thessalonians 5:19—Quench not the Spirit.
   
Can I thank God for it? Ephesians 5:20—Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;    
Would I have to lie to cover it up? Hebrews 13:18—Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.    
Will I be with wrong companions? 1 Corinthians 15:33—Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.    
Will it be the right use of my body? 1 Corinthians 6:19-20—What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.    
What will I reap from it in latter life? Galatians 6:7-8—Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.    
Am I willling to face it in judgment before God? Romans 14:10-12—But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
